Configuring TCP/IP and Dial Up Adapter

Now that you have TCP/IP installed, highlight it and click on the Properties button. This will open up a new window.

From the tabs on the top of the new window, choose DNS Configuration.
  1. Click the Enable button.
  2. Under the Host field, enter your username
  3. Under the Domain field, enter "thecia.net"
  4. In the first blank box (the one with periods in it) enter the numbers "206", "40", "161", "150". Now click Add
  5. Repeat the last step with the numbers "206", "40", "160", "245"
  6. The window should now look like the one pictured.

Now click the WINS Configuration tab, make sure "Disabled" is checked

Click the IP Address and be sure Obtain Dynamically is checked.

The only thing left to do is let your computer know where to dial. So we move on to Dialup Networking
