Not as
famous as either the Old South or the Old North churches in
the pantheon of Boston history, the Park Stree Church
blah blah blah
The image was published by Charles Taber and Co. of New
Bedford Massachusetts and is entitled "Birds Eye View from
Studio Building"

| This moment of time captured many details. We see that it is 10 o'clock, and perhaps with details of lighting the time of year might be estimated. The leafless trees suggest early spring. The human details often get lost from photographs of this vintage, due to long exposures needed for the subtle lighting we see here. Perhaps the streets were busy with pedestrians when this was taken, or perhaps it was taken on a quiet Sunday morning. In any case, two 19th century Bostonians paused long enough to make an impression and so we see them here as they never could have suspected we would. |

| In the interest of full disclosure, I wish to make note of the fact that I edited the stereo content of the larger above image to remove a wire that stretched across the foreground of the scene. From the viewpoint of history, this wire was interesting, but I must bow to aesthetics for my little presentation here. |
