CONVENTIONS are held at Regional and National levels
in the U.S. and other countries every year. Callers, Cuers and Dancers
come from all around to be part of these two or three day events. Conventions
are a way for dancers to meet dancers from other areas and dance to many
callers, some old favorites, many others for the first time. There are
halls for all levels, Mainstream to Challenge, dancing all the time. Dancers often make plans and make reservations for
these events years in advance ( to get their choice of hotels or campgrounds
), but you can go on short notice and still have a wonderful time.
